Oahu Meeting Schedule

Oahu, known also as the "Gathering Place," is the most populous of the Hawaiian Islands and is home to the University of Hawaii's main campus, located in Manoa. Oahu's North Shore has huge winter surf that attracts surfers from around the world. Oahu's flower is the `ilima. The `ilima is about one inch in diameter, can be yellow, orange or red, and has gray-green heart-shaped leaves. An `ilima lei takes about 1,000 blossoms. In ancient Hawai`i, `ilima leis were worn only by royalty, who were known as alii. `Ilima flowers are also used in medicines.
