2011 Procedure Update
Al-Anon is moving Group Records into the Information Superhighway! As part of this move, the process for submitting information about new group registrations and changes to existing groups has streamlined, and now allows Area Group Records Coordinators to make changes directly into the WSO database online. Therefore, the Al-Anon World Service Office now requests that groups submit their completed Al-Anon Registration/Group Records Change Form (GR-1 Forms, attached) directly to their District Representative, who will note the information for District records and forward the form to the Area Group Records Coordinator.
Please submit your completed GR-1 Forms directly to your District Representative and help Hawaii group records get into the fast lane on the information superhighway.
This will save you both time and the expense of faxing or mailing the form to Virginia Beach and improve the accuracy of records at the District, Area and World Service levels. It’s a win-win situation.

GROUP QUARTERLY INCOME AND EXPENSE WORKSHEET
Groups may find this form useful in preparing reports to their groups prior to quarterly splits.
SPLITS
Quarterly splits are due: February, May, August, and November.
Please submit splits with your Group number indicated to the following:

BREAK THE BUCK BARRIER
Our Panel 40 Alateen coordinator designed a "Break the Buck Barrier" flyer for groups to display. If two are printed, folded along the line above the text and the backs stapled together, they form a double-sided table tent that can be easily displayed at meetings. It's a terrific tool to remind members that a dollar doesn't pay for what it formerly did. This is an updated version that Ethel provided in 2010.

EXPENSE REPORTS
Hawaii Area World Service Committee members must complete an expense report statement and submit it to the Area treasurer to be reimbursed for authorized expenses related to their positions.
REIMBURSEMENTS
These forms are the "web safe" version. No contact information is included, but they should be sent to the Area Treasurer. They can be used if you know who to send them to. If you need the address, HAWSC49 members can find them in our Yahoo Group under Files.
